Our Story

Growing up I owned many pets, but I always REALLY wanted a dog. Mum’s excuse was “the house isn’t big enough”.

In 2018 after moving to Peterborough, my wish finally came true and I adopted my first dog from Wood Green , Leia the Alaskan (sassy, stubborn but affectionate) Husky.  I think a lot of people thought I was crazy adopting a Husky for my first dog, but here we are nearly 6 years later still going strong.

Leia was the main inspiration to start PE4 Pawsitting as she has brought so much laughter and happiness into my life, plus helped my mental health in ways I never knew I needed. So in 2020, after many years of “do I, don’t I” I decided it was time to set up my own dog walking and pet sitting business to surround myself with even more animals.

Sadly in March 2020 Covid hit which put a slight hold on things, but I wasn’t going to let this stop me! Whilst also working a part time job I decided to use my spare time wisely and improved / gained new skills by doing a course on pet sitting / dog walking, animal training and animal psychology.

Fast forward to May 2022, I finally decided to the leap and quit my part time job to focus on this full time, which is one of the best decisions I ever made. Being around animals and animal minded people truly is my happy place and where I feel most comfortable.

Even whilst I’m away from home, I always find myself being drawn to animals and have helped out at various animal sanctuaries over the years, such as Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand and The Gouves Shelter in Crete.
